The Continental GT-R 750 was first revealed in India at Motoverse 2025 after its global preview at EICMA 2025. With this event, the GT-R 750 has been announced as the new mainstay of Royal Enfield’s GT Cup racing series, thus the old GT 650 will be phased out, and new records will be set by the brand in racing.
Race-Ready Design & Engineering
GT-R 750’s design draws from Royal Enfield’s timeless cafe racer features, the retro-racer look with a bikini fairing and low clip-on handlebars is apparent. Its one-piece seat and rear seat hump emphasize the motorbike’s intensely track focused nature. A shortened subframe and wide twin-bar LED tail light are among the changes that make the bike both a visually appealing and functional racing tool. The headlight and turn indicator removal in the race variant is part of the efforts to make the bike a lean competitor for the track.

Chassis, Suspension, and Hardware
The GT-R 750 comes with a different chassis design under its cover, where some parts of GT 650 are reused but the overall agility and control are enhanced. The bike is also equipped with very good quality Showa suspension telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear for his precise handling. Such is the poor choice of hardware that racing slicks are mounted on 18-inch alloy wheels in the race trim with 110/80-18 front and 150/65-18 rear sizes for the best grip and acceleration on dry circuits. The bike’s ability to halt quickly is improved with the fitting of two front disc brakes and the use of high-performance ByBre brake calipers.
Powertrain and Performance
The major change is in the engine: the Continental GT-R 750 is powered by a brand-new 750cc parallel-twin, which is a unit with 750cc capacity from the GT 650’s 648cc is the twin that accompanies the new bike. The power and torque outputs are proposed at the area of 54-55 bhp and 60-65 Nm with the support of six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch for light and fast gear changes. The bike is set up with a free-flow race exhaust and is retuned for pure racing, the goal being high power delivery and low weight.
Launch Timeline and Road-Going Model
Once the spec race GT-R 750 will be capturing the limelight at GT Cup events, the Gitford of Royal Enfield’s Continental road model is anticipated to make an appearance at the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027, with the price estimated at around ₹3.90 lakh ex-showroom. The road version is likely to feature the timeless GT look with the present day touch like circular LED headlight and digital instruments, thus, purists could be pleased with the classic GT or go for the faired or unfair variants for an authentic retro or cleaner café racer look, respectively.
