2025 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Bold New Design, Triple-Screen Luxury & Advanced ADAS

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ eco-friendly 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift draws its inspiration from Mahindra’s XEV 9e concept, besides flaunting an interior upgrade to a luxurious one. The new car will be unveiled on the eve of the Diwali Festival 2025 and is expected to help Mahindra maintain its stronghold in the mid-sized premium SUV market.

Exterior Design Updates

The focus on an aggressive front is evident in the facelift that features redesigned LED headlamps, C-shaped daytime running lights, new grille elements, and new front and rear bumpers. More advanced LED tail lamps accompanying a light bar are fitted on the rear and the new 18 inch alloy wheels highlight its sporty character. With these updates, the SUV gets a modern and technology-driven look which is in harmony with Mahindra’s refreshed design language, which is inspired by the electric XEV family.

Mahindra has completely redesigned the new interior and has gone thoroughly in and out with a new interior redesign. The all new instrument panel features a ground-breaking three screen setup consisting of a digital driver display, the main infotainment unit, and a screen for the co-passenger just like other luxury car makers use. Apart from that, the use of soft-touch surfaces, ambient lighting, and the improved ergonomics all lead to a more premium-level experience.

Main features

1) Harman/Kardon 14-speaker sound system supporting Dolby Atmos technology

2) Ventilation of the captain’s seats in the second row

3) Interior rearview mirror with auto-dimming feature

4) Wireless connection for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

5) Panoramic glass roof

6) Two-zone climate control system

On top of that, the refreshed version has been equipped with Level 2+ ADAS. Alongside self-parking, front parking sensors are among the newly added features. The improvement in the calibration of radar and cameras is helping adaptive cruise control and lane assist to be more seamless.

Engine and Performance

Mahindra is giving you more than just good engine alternatives:

2.0L turbo petrol (197 bhp, 380 Nm)

2.2L mHawk diesel (182 bhp, 450 Nm)

The petrol and diesel variants are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. However, the diesel variants are only available with a four-wheel-drive option. Although the XUV700 has been refreshed, it carries a fuel efficiency claim of around 13-14 km/l for petrol and 16-17 km/l for diesel that will entirely depend on the driving style and trim.

Safety Enhancements

The newest model is still based on the same Global NCAP 5-star safety-rated chassis as its predecessor. This results in more airbags, better visibility, and smarter ADAS algorithms being introduced. The addition of some of the safety features, such as the 360-degree surround camera, blind-spot monitoring, and driver attention alerts, has already been completed. Therefore, it can be counted among the safest SUVs in its class.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline

It is quite clear that the 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will be out on the market by the end of October 2025. The petrol-powered base MX petrol model will probably be priced at around ₹15.5 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the AWD diesel top-spec AX7 L automatic might be priced at roughly ₹26.5 lakh. If buyers decide to purchase the vehicle early, sellers may give festive discounts or special pricing as a way of introducing the product.

Verdict

With a perfect combination of technology, refinement, and power, the 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift is the way to go. The SUV, with features like ADAS, interiors of luxury-grade, and comforts under ₹30 lakh, is the one to set a higher benchmark for Indian SUVs. Existing SUV owners and potential buyers will be the ones to look forward to this upgrade, thus, making sure that their expectations are ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌met.
